The years almost over, jeez, better do an update!

Firstly! 2014's NZUni Weekend in Bombay was a great experience for NZ unicycling. A perfect example of community effort being the solution to a smooth running event, huge thanks to Rob Young and the Bombay community for hosting us. Congratulations to our new champions, Samuel Tzikoucos, who earned his first ever 1st place in the open category for Street, along with Chris Champions 1st place open category Flatland.

NZUni Weekend 2015

A fresh start for our nationals, the 2015 NZUni Weekend has been moved from labour weekend to December 12th-14th, which will be held in New Plymouth, with the assistance of the New Plymouth City Council. We're running a colab event with skateboarders and bike trials riders, so join the fun and check it out! A reminder, Uni Weekend is very beginner friendly :). For more Uni Weekend information click here. We also plan to film PGV7 before Uni Weekend!

We didn't attend the 2015 Uninats, so no news to share on that front…

Hippo's sponsored team is growing! Things are getting more and more exciting! We've opened our sponsored team up to Australian riders. Our sponsored team will be overflowing with diversity and experience with the new additions to the team, who will be announced early next year.

What to expect for 2016:
2016 Uni Weekend location is still being decided, give us your ideas!! We'll have the results of which Australian riders have made the cut into the sponsored team and we'll hopefully have a number of new tutorials online under the "Uniquest" brand! Don't forget about Unicon in Spain, NZ & AUS will have their largest team heading to the world champs than ever before!
